Beef and pork allergy (alpha gal)
Dr. Merritt was published at Dr. Tina Hatley in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2008. The research is related to a mammal protein called Alpha gal, which is involved in allergic reactions to a cancer medication, beef, lamb, venison and pork.
